My horses and I are new to Washington, we live in the Lakewood area. Im trying to find a good place to buy horse quality hay. Preferably Alfalfa but a good grass hay is always good too. I see a lot of Timothy for sale but Ive never fed that to my horses, how has it worked for you?
Also I normally buy large 3 string bales. If I can find a comparable price for smaller bales, I dont mind them.
Where do you buy your hay, and what are prices like here? I live on McChord AFB, so Id like to try to get it nearby.
