Hays county Texas. One beer, not drunk. I just want to know how much it is going to cost.

is it an open container ticket or drinking in public ticket? either one will cost you 100-500. if you were seen drinking from the container it will be higher than if you were seen holding it.

Call the courts. Every city and county is different.

    Parking……………………………..$3
    Ticket to HS football game…….$5
    Hamburger and soda…………….$7

    $300.00 for a can of beer………Priceless!!!! :-)

They should have a number on the ticket you can call and find out how much it’s going to be.

Your best bet is to look on the citation, and call or visit the county court. Most citations have the cost on them. Call the local police or county sheriff’s department or visit the county courthouse and see how much it is. That simple.

Contact the issuing authority for the cost of the fine…doubt too many folks on here have done something that (if you’ll pardon my bluntness) plain ol’ stupid…so we probably don’t know what the penalties are, muchless do we know what it costs in your county…
