These are the concerts around those dates that I'm hoping to check out, and maybe they're ones your friend would like: OK Go @ the House of Blues Anaheim on March 20. Missy Higgins @ Orpheum in LA on March 21. Cold War Kids @ at the Orpheum on March 27. The Hotel Cafe is one of my absolute favorite venues, but they haven't posted their late March / early April concerts yet, so I'd encourage you to keep checking their site for updates. I know for a fact that a really awesome local singer is going to be performing there in early April. Coachella is mid-April.
