Yes, I know where it is—I’ve been every year for the past 15 years. The post that said there’s no McDonalds is wrong–there is a McD’s in Sturgeon Bay

Door County is up on the northern tip. If you are looking for a touristy place, then the summer in Door County is the place to be. They have a nice winery and some really good reataurants. I don't live there, but I know someone who has. Visited there last summer.

If your left hand represented the State of Wisconsin, it would be at the tip of your thumb. I have relatives who have rented cottages there for over 25 years and love it. It has no commercial stores, not even a McDonalds! Very back-to-nature, great fishing and beaches.
